Aalborg Camping & Hytteø is 3km outside the historic university city of Aalborg, in North Jutland, Denmark. Although the well established site originally only catered for clothed holidaymakers, there is now a large naturist section for customers who prefer to get closer to nature. The 3-star Escorial Hotel in Playa del Ingles, Gran Canary has - amongst its attractions - a rooftop sun terrace with jacuzzi and nudist area. The hotel can be booked through a number of UK-based agents.

A unique new naturist event has been arranged at Butterfly World, St Albans, north of London, on Saturday 21 August 2010. The clothes-optional evening session runs from 6pm until 9pm and admission costs £5 for adults and £3 for children (3-16). The venue for this special occasion is only minutes away from three established naturist clubs - Spielplatz, Sunfolk Society and Five Acres - making it an ideal destination for a weekend break.

The project is still under development but by next year the centrepiece will be a large biome 100 metres in diameter and with 10,000 butterflies, humming birds, tropical plants and other insects. The clothes-optional evening is open to all.

A new naturist venture in the popular resort of Maspalomas, in southern Gran Canaria, has been opened by the Canarian Nudist Association.  Bonita Vista Natura (website in Spanish - Google translation) has just eight comfortable holiday apartments built around a private swimming pool. The sheltered and secluded terrace is furnished with plenty of sunbeds to take advantage of the sunny aspect.

The family-owned and run Hotel Panorama on the Greek island of Zakynthos (Zante) will operate on a fully naturist basis from May 2010. Accommodation at the well-established property is offered with half board, but in addition, some apartments are available with a kitchenette. Nearby Gerakas beach has a nudist area at one end and is about 10 minutes walk from the resort. Naturist tour operator Chalfont Holidays arranges trips from the UK.

Harmony Nature Farm is a 132-hectare traditional family naturist resort in South Africa, nestling against the cliffs of the Magaliesburg mountain range in the North West Province, thirty kilometres from Rustenburg and a little over an hour from Johannesburg and Pretoria. The property is privately owned and situated in green belt, which is home to the rare Cape Vulture and many varieties of other bird species and wild life, such as, zebra, ribbok, monkeys, baboons, duikers and jackal. Accommodation is available in cabanas, cabins and chalets, as well as camping and caravans. A swimming pool, indoor spa pool, steam room and snack bar are just some of the facilities on offer.

Located just 45km south of Paris in the vicinity of Essonne, the family-friendly 2-star naturist campsite - Les Hesperides - is in a handy location for visiting the French capital. In addition to space for holidaymakers with their own tent or caravan, the 3.5 hectare site also has a number of bungalow chalets for hire. A good-sized pool and plenty of sports activities provide the usual leisure facilities for an enjoyable vacation in the buff.

Samantha and Mark Taylor, British naturists who operate the highly successful Vassaliki Naturist Club on the Greek island of Kefalonia, have announced a new venture in South Africa which is due to open in January 2011. Vasnat Club Hotel is currently being purpose built for them, at the gateway to the Winelands of the Western Cape on a private wine estate. With warm balmy days averaging 30 degrees and 14 hours of sunshine throughout the months of December to March, the resort will no doubt prove to be a welcome new winter destination for nudists living in the northern hemisphere.

At the heart of the Loire Valley, Club du Soleil de Touraine nudist campsite has 2 stars, and is set in a wooded 8 acres just minutes from Tours. Recommended by British naturists travelling in the region, the club also has a number of rooms available for anybody without their own tent or caravan. Surprisingly, there is a new nude destination in Turkey - Hotel Adaburnu Golmar - on the Datca Peninsula, about an hour from Marmaris. The 4-star,  family-owned, property offers a high standard of au naturel accommodation on an all-inclusive basis, and boasts views across the sea to the Greek islands of Rhodes and Symi. British naturist tour operator Peng Travel is the exclusive booking agent in the UK.

Situated in the Charente department of western France, Camping Naturiste du Port offers 44 camping pitches in 1.2 hectres of grounds. The well-equipped site is a handy 20 minutes from La Rochelle and 30 mins from the Ile de Ré. A lively centre with a large pool and a communal French atmosphere.

Paul and Jean - expat naturists from the UK - welcome like minded folk to holiday at Finca Restonica, set in the Andalucian countryside on the outskirts of Coin, an old Spanish town on the Costa Del Sol, southern Spain. Attractive accommodation, a sparkling pool and a secluded location provide the ingredients for a relaxing vacation in the buff.

Château Guiton has been recommended as an ideal spot for a stopover, or a longer stay. Located approximately 20 miles east of the city of Bordeaux, the property offers B&B, gites and camping sites. The family-friendly naturist centre is set in a former vineyard has an appealing swimming pool and its own wine bar!

Dutch naturist tutors are organising an international massage week for men and women in Southern Spain, during late summer 2010. From 11th to 18th September, the totally naturist holiday week will include daily sessions covering the basics of western massage. The venue is a large property complete with swimming pool, easily accessible from Malaga airport and not far from the popular resort of Nerja. Touch, the name of the company behind the venture, claim to have trained more than 2,500 people in the skills of massage, but suggest this could be a naturist first.

Domaine Le Portrait is a new quiet and secluded naturist campsite in the South Charente departmente, on the border with the Dordogne. The English-speaking Dutch owners have an 8 acre property with plenty of space for caravans, tents and motorhomes. A 4-berth caravan and a tent are also available to hire. Swimming pool, sauna and WiFi will be available for 2010.

Chan Home and Resort, in Pattaya, Thailand is naturist-friendly family resort where clothing is optional at the pool and around the villas.

Also, described as suitable for naturists - the German operated Thai Bamboo Guesthouse at Cha Am, Petchburi in Thailand has 4 bungalows to let. Set in 6,000 sq metres of grounds, which include mango trees, teak woods and other tropical plants; the property is in a remote location close to almost deserted beaches.

Described as ‘home from home self-catering naturist accommodation with space to relax in secure, secluded, and tranquil surroundings’, Butt Nothing is located near Port Elizabeth. A solar heated pool and sun loungers provide a haven for relaxation in the pretty sub-tropical gardens.
