With gushing waterfalls on the property and a stunning beach just a short stroll away, it ought to satisfy the desires of most skinny-dippers.

Peter has been in touch to tell us about the new Homestay he and his partner Mike have opened in Rotorua, North Island. It offers a relaxed environment, but is suitable for adults only. There’s a private clothing optional outdoor area with a 5-person spa pool, sunloungers and table and chairs. Nudity is also permitted indoors, but naturist visitors are advised to let the owners know in advance, because they also accommodate non-naturists from time-to-time and don’t want to inadvertently mix the two!

In the heart of the Bay of Islands, Waitata Bay farm-stay offers relaxed naturist breaks in Northland, on the Pacific coast of New Zealand. On the 24 hectares of coastal land there are olive trees, pigs and chickens, and a big organic veggie garden all providing a close connection with nature. A 40-metre track will take visitors down down to the ocean to enjoy nude swimming and sunbathing.

This boutique mountaintop retreat with three residential cabins, is described as ‘naturist by arrangement‘. Cabin in the Clouds is set in 12 acres. A day spa, tennis court, swimming pool and private outdoor hot tubs for each cabin are available for guests.

Kiata Country Club nudist centre at Pitt Town, is located between Windsor and Wisemans Ferry – 65 kilometres north west of Sydney CBD. According to the club, the almost-65 acres of grounds provide an opportunity to enjoy a naturist lifestyle in the peace and serenity of a natural bush environment. In addition to the usual sports facilities there’s a fresh water swimming dam – complete with pontoon and waterfall – apparently, big enough to do some serious swimming.

Maria and Kevin – based in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia – offer what they describe as a unique nudist B&B, including home-cooked meals. With three air-conditioned double guest rooms, an outdoor dinning area in a rain-forest setting, a spa, sauna and gym: they welcome naturist couples to enjoy their hospitality.

Robert and Alwine offer naturist bed and breakfast at their Cairns home in Queensland, Australia. The spa retreat offers a host of facilities for relaxing in the buff, not least the tropical gardens and sparkling 10-metre pool. Private bare beach tours are arranged, where Robert and Alwine’s local knowledge ensure a choice of exotic locations can be explored.

A new clothes-optional B&B – Kaikea – at Clifton Beach in tropical North Queensland provides two guest rooms and is set in pretty gardens with a skinny-dipping pool. According to the owners, “Our garden is suitably screened from our neighbours and clothing is not required inside the front door or in the garden”.

Mai Tai Resort offers luxury accommodation – rated by tripadvisor.com (2009) as the best place to stay in Port Douglas, North Queensland. The Balinese boutique-style property boasts a clothes-optional salt-water swimming pool and sun loungers.

Located between the mountain and sea, Maureen and Lindsay welcome visitors to Sylvan Glade, a 12-acre rural property surrounded by rainforest and native woodland in the Nambucca Valley. There are two separate en-suite guest bedrooms each with its own private entrance. An attractive pool, spa and extensive sunbathing areas are ideal for au naturel relaxation.
