The US-based holiday company ‘FlipKey‘ recommends a selection of 13 properties worldwide for for baring all. According to their website: “Looking for a place to show a little more skin or even wear nothing but your birthday suit? These nudist and naturist-friendly homes just might be perfect for your clothing-optional vacation style.”

Nick at Unseen Bali has been in touch to tell us about ‘Bali au Natural‘, a naturist beach resort in SE Asia with extensive facilities for nature lovers, men and women, singles and couples. The lush tropical location – adjacent to a clothing-optional shore – in Northern Bali, provides accommodation in 15 luxury rooms. A separate naturist property – ‘Sunclad Villa‘ – although open to all, is particularly popular with the gay community.

Barefeet Naturist Resort claims to be the first of its kind in the city of Bangkok, Thailand. In addition to en-suite bedroom accommodation and catering, the compact development has a garden area with a small pool. Described as family-friendly, day visitors are welcome in addition to residential guests. A host of special events are organised on a regular basis.

The appealing Oriental Village Naturist Resort close to the city of Chiang Mai, in Thailand, is surrounded by rice fields and eternal green mountains. Twelve well-equipped cottages are centred around an attractive swimming pool. The resort’s ‘Mountain View’ restaurant is open from breakfast until dinner, and serves Thai specialties as well as Western recipes.

The luxury island resort accommodates just 14 couples in sumptuous villas, offering oceanfront alfresco dining and an extensive spa menu. Better still, there are 14 private beaches, so a nude stroll along the white sands is definitely on the cards. The Daily Telegraph suggests it could be one of the top ten places to skinny-dip.

Chan Home and Resort, in Pattaya, Thailand is naturist-friendly family resort where clothing is optional at the pool and around the villas.

Also, described as suitable for naturists – the German operated Thai Bamboo Guesthouse at Cha Am, Petchburi in Thailand has 4 bungalows to let. Set in 6,000 sq metres of grounds, which include mango trees, teak woods and other tropical plants; the property is in a remote location close to almost deserted beaches.
